Record the depth image

Hello!

Now I try to record the depth image by UtilPipeline, and I enable the capture by :

pp->EnableImage(PXCImage::COLOR_FORMAT_DEPTH);

So I get a video of depth image which lasts about 20 seconds, 30fps. It takes about 607MB. Furthermore, I want to remove the UV map of the depth image so that the memory will be smaller. As a consequence, I change the code to:

A proble about the p.QueryGeoNode

Help!!!Please!!!  I use Unity c# script to develop an app with 3D Senze and meet a problem:

When I define a variable :     
public  PXCMGesture.GeoNode.Openness openhand;



And then I want to receive the value p.QueryGeoNode return:

p.QueryGeoNode (PXCMGesture.GeoNode.Label.LABEL_BODY_HAND_SECONDARY,out openhand);



but it failed.

I just want to know hot to use the "Openness"???

first time working with microsoft visual studio 2013

Hi,

I created a New project in Microsoft visual studio 2013, to capture RGB and Depth images using Intel creative 3d gesture camera. I followed sdk devguide pdf step by step and copy pasted capture viewer cpp code given in PCSDK sample folder. I am getting following errors. Can some one please help me. or give me some information about step by step procedure to build project in Microsoft visual studio for capturing video from intel  3d camera.

please explain MapColorCoordinatesToDepth

I noticed this function in projection.h

    virtual pxcStatus PXCAPI MapColorCoordinatesToDepth( PXCImage *d_image, PXCPointF32 *uvInv, pxcU32 uvInvPitch, PXCSizeU32 uvInvRoi )=0;

Obviously PXCImage *d_image is the depth image.

I am guessing that PXCPointF32 *uvInv is an array of color coordinates to be mapped, and that the new depth coordinates will replace them when the function terminates.

Creative GestureCam\DepthSense 325 can't open color + depth streams at the same time?

I just installed the Creative GestureCam\DepthSense 325 camera with the most recent PCSDK on a 64 bit Window 8.1 machine, and I can't access the RGB stream AND the Depth stream at the same time. This means I can't do face tracking and gesture recognition in the same app. I verified this with the capture_viewer.exe demo and by coding a small sample project to see what was going on.

 

On my older 32 bit Windows 7 machine this was not an issue but I was also running an older version of PCSDK.

 

Anybody else experience this?

Need gesture_render.h

Hello!

I am sorry to interrupt you, but I am really in need of help. I am a new learn of the Inter@ Perceptual Computing SDK and even the C++. Now I want to learn how to develop an application to get the gestures by this sdk. I have read the tutorials and tried to run the sample. But I found that  the "gesture_render.h" is now in the file and I don't know how to write this file by myself...

depth stream not working

Hi, 

 

I installed the R8 package but when trying to get the depth stream from the camera using the "capture viewer" provided with the SDK the program crashes immediately. This issue doesn't occur when using the color stream or the vertices option (under depth stream) but since of the all applications are using the depth stream I can't seem to get anything running.

 

Any ideas how to fix this ?

How to change the resolution of depth image?

Hi, all.

Now I can get the depth image by UtilPipeline, but it seems that the resolution of depth image is limited to 320*480. Whenever I try to change the resolution in function EnableImage, the program will break down. 

Can you tell me how can I change the resolution of depth image? Thanks a lot!
