The purpose of this application is to demonstrate how to use the App Designer within the Intel® XDK to build a mobile user interface using App Framework UI along with the jQuery selector library.
The Intel® XDK App Designer marks up its HTML with a series of classes to determine how to display and make changes to the source code using the App Designer UI builder.
Finally, App Designer uses jQuery as its selector library to drive the App Framework UI. Make sure you include all the appropriate jQuery libraries as well.
Be aware that removing any markup from the code view could compromise App Designer’s ability to function as a drag and drop UI builder tool. Furthermore, be sure to include the .less files in the project in order to continue to use App Designer's UI layout capability.
This sample application has been tested on a variety of iOS and Android devices. Since it relies on some HTML5 specific CSS it may not function appropriately on older desktop browsers.
