Is Intel C/C++ compiler a Mandatory

Ritratto di Praveen
Hi, Do we have to use Intel C/C++ compiler in our applicatoin? Is it a Mandatory to get our app/game listed? What is the Prerequistto get listed in the app store apart from the app dev on C/C++/Moblin? What is the submission process? What as a developer had to do with the sdk? What does the sdk contain? If the app is already developed on C/C++ and runs on WinXP what development efforts are required? It would be great if someone give me the info for the above. Cheers! Praveen

Hello Praveen

currently the SDK supports Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. In order to get listed you need to follow the validation guidelines. If you have already an application which works on Windows XP you need to integrate the SDK into your program.

Hello Praveen,

recommended is to use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. There is no specific rule to use an Intel C/C++ compiler.

Please check the document below which at the top shows what is supported:

Hi

I had installed Windows XP SP3, Visual Studio 2008 redistributable merge modules and Intel Atom SDK v0.91.

Can you do show me a sample makefile so that I can compile the programs using nmake utility from the command line since I dont have the full VS 2008 on my system

Regards,
Srinivasan

Good morning,

Visual Studio 2008 does not support Make files. This feature was dropped with Visual Studio 2005. Have you considered a 90 day trial of Visual Studio 2008?
