App created with Creator Beta not passing binary validation from AppUp program

Hello, a message for AppUp creator owners. I created an app for windows, download it, test it, and submitted it to app for publishing. But it was rejected as it has not passed binary validation. What can I do. I assumed that something built with the creator will not have problems with validation. Thanks. Dan

Have you signed your application with the code signing certificate ?

Hi Dan,

All submitted applciations have to be signed by an approved CA. In your Dashboard, click on the "Apply for code signing certificate" to get a certificate to sign your application.

Thanks
Jim

Hello Dan,

I'd like to inform to you that since July 18th 2011, all the applications have to be signed before they are submitted to the Intel AppUp(SM) Developer Program for validation.

There is a cost associated with code signing but we are subsidizing the cost for the community for the first year.
Please note that both paid and free applications require a digital certificate. As of now, Windows*, Java* and Adobe AIR* applications will require signing.

The validation guidelines can be found here: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/validation-guidelines

The code signing announcement can be found on this link: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/blog/2011/06/04/application-signing-be-introduced-intel-appup-dev-program-starting-1st-july

You can find the instructions about how to get the code signing certificate from here: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/how-do-i-get-code-signing-certificate-certifying-authority

Thank you for taking the time to communicate your concern to us.

Regards,
