Intel's Cache Monitoring Technology: Software Support and Tools

Introduction

Intel's Cache Monitoring Technology (CMT) feature was introduced with the Intel®Xeon® E5 2600 v3 product family in 2014.  This feature enables fine-grained tracking of L3 cache occupancy, enabling detailed profiling and tracking of threads, applications or VMs.
