Did you attend the largest virtual IoT conference of the year? We sure hope so! But if not, you can still watch all of the presentations on demand.

Register at and keep an eye on your email for access to the conference platform where all of the replays are available. With 46 talks from the IoT experts and innovators around the world, you’ll be busy binging on IoT for days!

The Global IoT DevFest was a two-day online conference on June 2nd and 3rd from 10am-6pm ET, and was hosted on a custom platform that was a one-stop-shop for the conference sessions, allowed participants to book 1:1 mentoring sessions, speakers to publish blogs or insights, and had a forum for open Q&A.

Keynote SpeakersOpening the conference was keynote speaker Brian McCarson, CTO of IoT Strategy at Intel. Brian talked about the 50 billion connected devices soon to be connected by IoT. Several Intel Innovators also gave talks on their personal projects and research, showing off their real-world tested IoT applications. Many of the Innovators even made themselves personally available for developers to connect with after the conference–watch their replays to get the details!

Our second keynote speaker, Austin Ashe, GM of Smart Cities at GE, gave us a glimpse into how GE plans to reinvent the future, city by city. His slides and presentation can be found at (if you have not registered to the conference you will need to complete this step to watch the talks). Many other Intel partners joined the conference and shared insights into their IoT offerings and gave live demos of their current work.

Closing out the first day, Preston Holmes, Head of IoT at Google Cloud, gave a deep dive into Google’s IoT platform and how Google is transforming data in today’s connected world. Many Intel engineers and developers gave technical talks on the inner workings of IoT, including Tim Abels, Director of Server Architecture at Intel and Steve Orrin, CTO of Intel Federal. Finally, the conference ended with a wrap up presentation by Adam Benzion, founder of

As this was a global conference, we had a global audience from 94 different countries! The majority being the US at 50% of attendees, followed by India with 18% and coming in third place was Canada with 5%. More than 1,300 developers were trained live, and thousands more will be trained after using the video replays. The bulk of the attendees identified as IoT enthusiasts, IoT researchers and IoT beginners. To help bring all of these attendees to the conference, 16 local meetups and seven universities partnered with Bemyapp and Intel to share the message.

The best part? The entire conference and all of its content is completely free to anyone who registers thanks to Intel who sponsored it! Intel’s vision with this conference was to provide a platform for IoT developers all around the world to connect, learn and grow, and the Global IoT DevFest definitely helped to accomplish this.

Check out both day’s agenda here to see all of the talks you can find on the platform available for replay. If you have already registered and did not attend live, just follow this link. If you have not yet registered, do so before August 5thhere and keep an eye on your email.

Thank you to everyone who participated and supported! Keep an eye out for the next edition of this conference, coming in the Fall of 2017 :)
