University Survey: Multi-Cores Training Modules Adoptability for University Curriculum -Part 1

Background

In 2008, an extended survey has been conducted in three instructor-lead Faculty Multi-core Training (version 2.0)(click to see course materials)classes heldinNorth America. Around 60 faculty members from 30 universities in 3 countries attended the three-day intensive trainingclasses. Asurvey has been conductedafter the class onthe adaptability for the multi-core training modules in this class into the related university curriculum.47 faculty members have responded and provided their valuable feedback.

As all the course modules for this multi-core faculty training classare availableonline for academic community members, I add the URL ofeach modules so that you can click to download that modules to see its content. The table 1 listed the suggested course level provided by 47 faculty members who attended the instructor-lead class. The table 2 listed the rating of value of each multi-core course module for university curriculum. If you haven't attended this multi-core faculty training yet, and want to consider to add the multi-core programming into your university curriculum. The results of this survey series for sure will provide the valuable information to you from your peers.
