Well it has been almost 36hrs without a crash! Yippee!

its no WOW/Blizzard problem, i dont play WOW. i had to buy a intel notebook and it displayed that error on the second day. all programme i used was winamp. first i thought it was a virus (not everyones a computer genius) and couldnt do my work (student, not gamer) because i could see absolutely NADA. im personally a AMD fan and after this will certainly remain one and will never recommend an intel to anyone. they cant even sell their product with a working driver.

I too have been dealing with this WoWproblem for MONTHS! an now im just straight up sick of this!! i've updated my drivers COUNTLESS times! problem still occurs! i got my computer wiped! still the same problem! What do i do to fix this!!! PLEASE E-MAIL ME Trevons55@yahoo.comIt seems to be TBC thats effecting this

I am receiving an error.

Windows - Display Driver Stopped Responding.

The ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally. Save yourwork and reboot the system to restore full display functionality. The next time you reboot the machine a dialog will be displayed giving you a chance to upload data about this failure to microsoft.

I tried downloading the most recent driver version from this site.

It's not working. Please help!

Thanks!

So do i take it that there is still no update for that driver? i tried the two on the intel website but they said the system did not match or something like that when it did to all intents and purposes. how do you delete the ialmrnt5.dll? i am going to try reducing the settings in the display tab (right click desktop, properties, advanced, troubleshoot, move the arrow two marks to the left and see what happens for a while.

the error message has only recently started happening to my computer, about 6months old.

I am having the exact same problem. Is there a fix for this?

Im having the exact same problem. I recently bought this laptop. IT uses the Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family. My driver version is PV14.20. I was running Black and White 2 when i recieved the exact same message. Ive updated the game and im still recieveing the exact same problem. The game compability list says that the game runs under perfect conditions but i seem to seriuosly doubt that list. Im lost. Is there some kind of fix to this problem?

Hi there WoW fans. Got the same problem after updating and tried everything but thanks to a very good person (hi Idaila :D ) I got the solution for you (it's based on what bauhaus wrote) Ready ? Ok here it goes ;)

OPEN WoW FOLDER. GO TO THE "WTF" FOLDER. OPEN WITH WORD PAD "CONFIG.WTF" AND ADD THIS TEXT LINE: SET UIFaster "0" Then select "Save" (not "Save as" ) and it's done. Enjoy playing WoW again :)

As you know, the Dell Demention 5150 after a Windows update, completedbooting. Then, through the WindowsInstaller, it attempts to automatically install an update for Sonic. At the same time, a "Install new hardware" dialog box pops us for a USB device and then the PC shuts down and displays the Blue Screen. The stop: 0x0000008e messageand the ialmrnt5 driver message.System Restore window is blank even in Safe Mode and the USBkeyboard only works when I'm in the BIOS. What solution works for this?

Can you include the driver version you are using?

I have a Gateway 835. I am having similar problems. Can intel get online and help us?

I'm having similar problems as well, but with graphics whatever. When I try to play the Sims2, I get an error message saying "Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate."

I don't really understand what it means, other than I've updated my drivers countless times. It's been working fine for about a month now, and all of the sudden that pops up. Anyone know what to do, please?

Have you guys checked your BIOS settings to ensure your display is not set to 1mb it should be 8mb
Anne

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure how to get there & change those settings. Do you mind explaining?

Not sure if this is any help to people. I recently rolled 600 PCs from Win2k to XP and got this error on many PCs. I have finally tracked down the problem to the BIOS version. These PCs all have Intel D865G mother boards. I only got the problem with BIOS versions up to P11. P14 was OK but had no P12 or P13 boards so not sure. I think it was fixed in P12 though. Anyway the solution was to flash the BIOS to the latest version - P25. No problems since.

Cheers

Peter

Hi I have been tring to play a game called Pirates Of the Caribbean Online I have been playing it for bout 6 months without any problems what so ever then bout a week ago I started getting this error:

"The ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally Save your work and reboot the system to restore full display functionality. The next time you reboot the machine a dialogue will be displayed giving you a chance to upload data about this failure to Microsoft."

I called the maker of my laptop Toshiba and they said to update my drivers I did still didn't work. I have an Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family card. Since updateing my drivers didn't work!

Thank You Very Much

Pam

o and my version is a 6.14.10.4543

Hi

When I install the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Windows* XP (exe) the files install then when it is completed I get a message stating it doesn't meet the system requirements yet I do have over 1G of ram.

Please is there any sugestions to rectify this problem.

I have this problem as well. I don't play games on my Acer C110 running Table PC. I get the IALMRNT5.dll error when I run IE6 or IE7. My machine has WinXP service Pak 3 and all the lastest drivers from ACER. I tried numerous times to fix this problem by reinstalling the orginal AcerVGA drivers and INTEL's updates (6.14.10.4543 for the 945GM Express Chip Set). I've adjusted the accelerator settings in Display/Troubleshooting but nothing works to prevent this error.

The IALMRNT5.dll has been going on for years. I have read every posting this forum has regarding this error. To date there is no fix. INTEL has a problem and they have failed to adequately respond to the problem.

INTEL please address the IALMRNT5.dll error problem with a solid fix!!

I am having the SAME exact problem.

Except my only difference is, I get the error at random times, usually when I'm doing anything. Last year this happened to me bout 19 times a hour. I just reformatted my computer and it stopped. Well its back again. It just started last night, and has done it about 6 times since then. PLEASE help! I tried to restore my drivers and I got the "System does not meet requirements" error.. can someone tell me what I'm suppose to do?

I'm getting pretty much the same problem as everyone else, im trying to play the World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Beta, but i keep getting that error

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&Product...!

I've tried that download, but it gets to the end, and gives me an error saying something about my manufacturer, i have a HP Pavilion a1106n. any help?

me too.. i tried downloading the update from intel but it said it was the wrong one.. how could that be if there was only 1?

I have been able to significantly reduce the number of times I get theIalmrnt5.dll error on my Acer C110 runnign WinXP Tablet (Service Pack 3).

Here is how:

Download Microsofts DirectX* Version:9.0 located at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en

Rebootthe computer

Next:download the latest Intel Graphic Updateforthe computer's graphic card

Rebootthe computer

Next: Open the control panel/display properties/advance/troubleshoots. Slide the accelerator to FULL and check Enable Write Combining. Slide the accelerator back if needed if Ialmrnt5 driver error persists.

Opencontrol panel/extreme grahics property/3D settings and set Driver Memory Footprint to LOW

Rebootthe computer

This has worked wonders from me on my ACER C110.

Note this has not completelyeliminated the Ialmrnt5 driver error problem but at least I don't get the blue screen any more- it changes the display settings to 800 by 600 pixels so I can keep working on the computer without loosing my work!

I hope this helps others who have the Ialmrnt5 driver error!!

I FIXED MY IALMRNT5 ON MY DELL INSPIRON 1200!

i had problems with my driver for my graphics card:ialmrnt5

after hours i finally fixed it.

i went to dell.com (manufacterer of my computer)

looked up my labtop version and found drivers.

downloaded a old driver because the updated one i had,had the error.
then i rebooted computer found a updated driver.

now it works. so uninstalling the updated driver then re-installing it works.

apperently intel(company) had issues with ialmrnt5 and if you have the error on the most recent driver it wont let you re-download that driver unless you un-install it or download a previous version.

IF IT HELPS! YOUR WELCOME :p
