now outdated content:

Apple released Xcode 5.0 for OS* X 10.8 Mountain Lion 18 September 2013.

The Intel compilers currently do no support integration into Xcode 5.0.  We will support Xcode 5.0 in a future update release.  We recommend that customers NOT install Xcode 5.0 on their systems until we have support in the Intel Compilers.  At this time we do not have a date for the release of the Intel Compilers for OS* X.

What's the highest version of Xcode to support Intel Fortran 2013.0.088?

For each release, there is a document named "Release Notes" that you can download quickly and read from your account at https://registraitoncenter.intel.com.  It is also provided with your compiler installation in

/opt/intel/composer_xe_2013<_version>/Documentation/en_US  in PDF format.

For your compiler, this was officially tested against Xcode 4.4 and supports that version.  However, it may work with NEWER 4.x versions - we just didn't test against anything newer that 4.4 FOR THIS COMPILER version - and we do not guaratee or suggest that it will work with anything newer than 4.4.

Composer XE 2013 SP1 Update 1 is now available for download from the Intel Registration Center and includes support for:

  • OS X* 10.8 and Xcode* 4.6 or Xcode* 5.0 and OS X* 10.8 SDK with Command Line Tools component of Xcode installed
