Instruction set extensions programming reference, revision 18

In early February, an updated instruction set extensions programming reference, revision 18, has been posted here. 

It includes information about:

  • Intel® Advanced Vector Extensions 512 (Intel® AVX-512) instructions
  • Intel® Secure Hash Algorithm (Intel® SHA) extensions 
  • Intel® Memory Protection Extensions (Intel® MPX)

Updated Intel® Software Development Emulator

Hello, we just released version 6.20 of the Intel® Software Development Emulator. It is available here:http://www.intel.com/software/sde

It includes:

  • Added support for XSAVEC and CLFLUSHOPT.
  • Disabled TSX CPUID bits when TSX emulation is not requested.
  • Improved disassembly for MPX instructions.
  • Added an option for running chip-check only on the main executable.
  • Added support for -quark (Pentium ISA).
  • Added application debugging for Mac OSX with the lldb debugger.

Intel(R) Xeon Phi(tm) Coprocessor -- Cluster training - call for demand!

Intel is evaluating to offer a 4 hour web-based basic tutorial covering the fundamental principles of how to integrate an Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor into a Linux based cluster.

During the course each attendant would have remote access to a Linux server and be able to do each step as shown in the outline below.  The course will be given free of charge. Requirements are an Internet connection, a web browser, and Putty.   We are settling on the sharing technology we will be using, and will publish that at a later date.

We are seeking interested parties to evaluate Intel® MKL SpMV Format Prototype Package for Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors. Sparse Matrix Vector Multiply (SpMV) is an important operation in many scientific applications, and its performance can be a critical part of overall application performance. On Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors, Intel® MKL 11.0 and later provide highly-tuned SpMV kernels for the compressed sparse row (CSR) sparse matrix storage format.

spring3+hibernate4 service 中多线程事务异常及解决

初次使用spring3结合hibernate4做项目,迅速配置完成,测试,一切正常。

然而,当我在service层中另外开启一个线程,线程中的方法需要进行数据库操作,这个时候,悲催的抛出了异常:-org.hibernate.HibernateException: No Session found for current thread

当然,hibernate4的session是和当前线程绑定的,多线程中用sessionFactory.getCurrentSession()获取当前session自然不存在,不存在又不会自动创建,所以抛出了异常,无可厚非。

于是就想着怎么解决这个问题。

遍翻google、baidu,大部分都说如何如何配置,设置事务的传播属性propagation="REQUIRED",开启opensessioninview filter等等,无一对此问题有何解释(当然或许是我没翻到,有知道的麻烦告知)

在http://sishuok.com/forum/blogPost/list/2625.html#7523上看到相关配置,我就想作者这个项目该多线程运行正常吧,果断下载源码,修改测试,oh。。。跟我的错一模一样!

思路:linux下包含头文件#include <pthread.h>

编译的时候加上参数 -lpthread

对于服务器端,服务器对socket处理的部分与接收客户端字符串的部分分开写,

服务器端的主函数中首先使用socket()函数创建socket,然后使用bind()函数将socket与ip地址和端口绑定,

再调用listen()函数设置为监听端口状态和监听的最大值,最后在while(1)循环里写accept()函数,每接收到一个客户端

就响应并且创建一个线程来处理。
