Compilador C++ Intel®

implicit declaration warning not produced using C compiler

Compiling the below code in gcc (gcc -Wall foo.c) yields the following warning message:

foo.c: In function 'main':
foo.c:9: warning: implicit declaration of function 'strlen'
foo.c:9: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'strlen'

When I compile using Intel C++ compiler (icpc -Wall foo.c)  I get the below error message:

foo.c(9): error: identifier "strlen" is undefined
    len = strlen(foo);

When I compile using Intel C compiler (icc -Wall foo.c) no warning messages are displayed.  Why is this the case?

error: parameter pack was referenced but not expanded

This is a C++ compiler bug report. (If it should be submitted elsewhere let me know.)

With Intel C++ (2016.0.109) the following error is reported:

$ icpc -std=c++11 icpc-bug.cxx
icpc-bug.cxx(12): error: parameter pack "TS" was referenced but not expanded
  template <typename... TS, TS... vals>

compilation aborted for icpc-bug.cxx (code 2)
zsh: exit 2     icpc -std=c++11 icpc-bug.cxx

with this code (which distilled to a small program that recreates the bug):

Parallel Studio XE Professional Edition 2016 installation crash

I was adviced by intel support to post here, strange as it is a installation issue.

< Intel® Parallel Studio XE Professional Edition 2016 (Trial) web-install fails (chrashes) at "Loading config_itac.xml". And i am running it as Admin and all that shit. I did try the full version and it also failed the same way. I tried to bypass it by renaming config_itac.xml. But the next xml (config_advisor.xml) generated the same result.

Setup: Windows 10 Pro x64
Intel Core i7 920
VS2013 and VS2015

Installation command line argument for --components

I want to install parallel studio 2016 with parallel_studio_xe_2016_setup.exe with command line.

But i dont want to install fortran component. I only want to install Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 Composer Edition for C++ and Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016 Cluster Edition.

What is the argument to pass for the option --components=?

    I purchased the Parallel Studio XE C++ for OSX on 8/5/2015.  After installing XCode 7.0 I copied the contents of /Library/Application Support/Developer/6.4/XCode/Plug-ins to /Library/Application Support/Developer/7.0/XCode/Plug-ins to have access to the Intel compiler.

    I'm now getting a license not available error:
