simple adjustment to uncompressing the MSS package

Maybe trivial for some, but I was scratching my head as I followed the directions implicitly... 

$ tar -xvzf MediaServerStudio*.tar.gz
$ cd MediaServerStudio*
$ tar -xvzf SDK*.tar.gz
$ cd SDK*

you need to cd SLES or CentOS directory depending on your build, in order to decompress the install scripts in the next step

$ tar -xvzf install_scripts*.tar.gz


Installing problem on centos 7.1

I have fresh new install of centos 7.1 and trying to install intel media server studio essential 2015 r5.

I follow the steps described in getting started guide., but after install_sdk_umd... finishes installing packages from yum repo and starts installing sdk provided rpm files, I am getting error: mesa-dri-drivers >= 8.0.1 is needed by libva-1.3.1-staging.20130628.36242.el7.x86_64.

Joining videos together with rotation

I have an app which records video from both the front and back camera, and I want to be able to stitch the videos together into one long video.

When I try this, (with the following code), any videos from the rear camera are flipped upside down.

Basically, what I think I need is a way to join the videos with setting a different rotation effect on the different video segments.

Additionally, the performance is pretty slow - is there a way to speed this up?




RGB Resolution


I am attempting to capture full resolution RGB images like this:


Where "pipe " is a utilpipeline instance.

This gives me 1280x720 rgb images, however, these images are of poor quality, containing many compression-like artifacts.  Is it possible that I am capturing a lower resolution that is simply being upscaled to 720p.  If so, how can I get full 720p color images?

Any help is appreciated.
