Linux does not detect Xeon Phi card

Here is our setup:

Motherboard: Asus P9X79 WS BIOS version 4802 (Above 4G decoding is enabled)
CPU: Intel Core i7 4820K
OS: CentOS 7.1 with Linux 3.10.0-229

I have a Xeon Phi 31S1P. I have not been able to display the card
with lspci. I have tried to put in a different PCI slot. I have
upgraded the BIOS of the motherboard to the latest version. I have
tried passing noapic and pci=realloc to the Linux kernel. Nothing
seems to work.

I do not have a Xeon processor. Could that be the problem?

Intel Inspector: difference in System Studio and Parallel Studio

Hi,

is the Intel Inspector in system studio and parallel studio the same? Or is there a difference in the tool? We would like to use it on Windows, Linux (not embedded) and Android. Is System Studio here the correct variant or shall we proceed with Parallel Studio? What exactly is the difference here?

memory leakage problem

Dear all,

I have a project with multiple times using MKL functions. After tens of times calling my program, the memory usage is larger and large (from initial 100 MB to latter more than 10 GB). So I use the Intel Inspector to check the location of memory leak. However, the Inspector can't find the location from my code but it is in MKL's functions. The original post is here:

Standalone installation of Intel Parallel Studio XE 20xx

I think that was asked many-many times in the past but this time, after reading Intel Parallel Studio XE 2016 installation requirements, I'd like to address the problem again.

Could we have Standalone, that is without Microsoft Visual Studio but with some Platform SDK, installations of latest versions of Intel C++ compiler?

11.3 Update 1 integer divide by zero when using MKL_DIRECT

I am using the "direct" calls set by MKL_DIRECT and am moving from MKL 11.2 to MKL 11.3 Update 1

I am finding my code is throwing a "integer divide  by zero" exception at this call when using 11.3 Update 1. The "calling" code is well tested and worked fine in MKL 11.2.

If I "turn off" MKL_DIRECT, the code again works as expected.

[Urgent] Can not build program when Floating License is expired

Sorry to make my problem so noisy. I'm currently in an urgent case.

I had bought a Floating License for 5 user (IPP XE 2013 SP1 update 3). The registration screen notice that my license is expired on 27 Jun 15. But I think the expiration affects only the "Support Status" , doesn't it ? Since I do not have any demain on downloading to latest version or newer than IPP XE 2013 SP1 update 3, is it ok for me to keep building source code with just my currently version ? or I need to renew my license (i don't think so :(  )
