Using Open vSwitch* with DPDK for Inter-VM NFV Applications

This article walks you through configuration of OVS with DPDK for inter-VM application use cases. Create an OVS vSwitch bridge with two DPDK vhost-user port, each connected to a separate VM, then use a simple iperf3 throughput test to evaluate performance.

  • Single-Root Input/Output Virtualization (SR-IOV) with Linux* Containers

    This paper is a result of a joint CERN openlab-Intel research activity with the aim to investigate whether Linux Containers can be used together with SR-IOV in conjunction and complementary to the existing virtualization infrastructure in the CERN Data Centre. This solution could be potentially applied to the storage nodes, which are principally used for Input/Output operations, while keeping the CPU mostly idle. CERN could benefit from LXC/SR-IOV by running both CPU-intensive and storage jobs in containers on one storage node, with full separation of both applications and control over consumed resources.

  • Intel XDK Geolocation Api not working for android version <= 4.3

     

    The Geolocation api plugin(core plugin of intel xdk) is not working in the android versions <=4.3.

    I am not able to find latitude and longitude coordinate position of device using this plugin in android <=4.3 version .

    Please help me to resolve this issue or tell me another way to find latitude and longitude position in android <=4.3 version.
