Intel C++ compilers on Windows 8

Intel C++ compilers on Windows 8

Аватар пользователя Sergey Kostrov

Hi everybody,

I wonder if somebody has tried any version of Intel C++ compiler integrated with VS 2005, or VS 2008, or VS 2010 or VS 2012 on Windows 8? Is it supported?

I'm considering upgrades from Windows XP and Windows 7 Professional to Windows 8 and I need some feedback to make a right decision.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Sergey

This article http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-c-studio-xe-2013-for-windows appears to answer some of those questions.
Compilers old enough to work with VS2005 will not have been tested with Windows 8.
Here is a reference about feasibility of VS2005 and 2008 on Windows 8: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/da-DK/vssetup/thread/c517d7cf-05...
