ReconOS Project in Android Studio

Hi, I am following along to the 'Using the ReconOS SDK Map Component' document to start building an application for the Recon Jet (Enterprise) headset. As described in the document, I've added the maven repository to the build.gradle(Project:ReconApp) file, added the recon SDK packages to the build.gradle(Module:app) file, and updated the manifest. However, when compiling I get the following errors:

“Failed to resolve: com.reconinstruments.app:recon-application:4.4.0”

“Failed to resolve: com.reconinstruments.os:recon-platform:4.4.0”

Crash log information

Hey guys, i have a couple of questions regarding an Intel crash on an Android application. This is a game made with Unity with native support for Intel with x86 libs. We load some of our own .so x86 libs as well on app boot, and the crash is on one of our libs.

The first question is, how is it possible that the crash log has the namespaces and function names instead of memory adresses if the libs have no symbols? Crashes on arme abi's normaly have something like [libName].[memoryAddress]

Is HAXM running

I am running the Android Emulator on Windows using an x86 kernel. I see  a message from the emulator that says "CPU Acceleration status: HAX (version 3) is installed and usable". An "sc query intelhaxm" shows haxm running. My question is: is it really running in the emulator? On a previous version it said haxm was working or running, not just installed and usable.

Thanks

mike

SoC (N3060 and E8000) serial ports / uart / drivers

Hi,

I'm working with two (2) custom motherboards including a N3060 and E8000 SoC respectively.

The N3060 and E8000 are two SoC that "implements two instances of high speed UART controller that support baud rates between 300 and 3686400 (hardware flow control is also supported)" [1].

PEBS events for Haswell architecture

Hi all, I'm new for PEBS (Precise Event Based Sampling), I want to collect CPU stalled cycle due to memory access based on PEBS (need bound to specific data address), is there any event I can use on Hawell EP architecture? My CPU is Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz. Also, is there any document or link describe about all events support PEBS? Thanks.

Problem installing .apk on device

I built an application .apk and installed on my device without any problem, just to test it, it worked properly

I built another one but couldn´t installed it

Trying several things I discovered that when I delete the previous app on my device I can install the new one, but I can´t installed the two apps at the same time

Built with Intel XDK, installed on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7, both same problem

Any idea?

Thanks

please fix HAXM compatibility w/ Hyper-V and xhyve

view it on GitHubCould you Intel folks please fix HAXM compatibility w/ Hyper-V and xhyve and VirtualBox?

We're getting so much finger pointing...all we want to do is be able to use Docker Native/Toolbox on Windows or Mac w/o having the Android X86 AVD emulator (based on QEMU and HAXM) blow up :-P
