1) Stop the ntpd daemon and restart ntpdate service in the head node:
# service ntpd stop
# service ntpdate restart
2) Stop the ntpd daemons and restart ntpdate service in the compute nodes:
# pdsh -a 'service ntpd stop'
# pdsh -a 'service ntpdate restart'
Then you can check if the date was correctly syncronized, for this execute:
# pdsh -a date
# pdsh -a 'prelink -a -u'
