Preparing Linux to Work with the Samples

The following preparations are required so that the SDK samples will run with any version of Linux.

Configuring for TLS

For successful TLS authentication, store a trusted root certificate that matches the server certificate installed on the Intel AMT device in a directory named /opt/intel/.

The root certificate must be named cert.pem.

If the Intel AMT device was configured for mutual authentication, a client certificate can be stored anywhere, as the path to the certificate is an input parameter to each sample.
