Accessing the Default WebUI Interface

note-icon WebUI Deprecation Note:

Intel plans, in future platforms, to remove the option of connecting to Intel AMT via the Web UI application. Instead, customers will have the option of downloading a web application to the Intel CSME firmware and interacting with the web application via a browser. This will provide similar functionality to that of the Web UI, but will require the additional initial step mentioned. The date for removal of the Web UI has not yet been decided. (Document update: January 2021)

As indicated on the Accessing Intel AMT via the WebUI Interface page, you can manage Intel AMT by connecting to the IP address of the target machine along with one of the following port numbers:

16992 for a standard HTTP connection

16993 for an HTTP over TLS connection

The two entry points to the WebUI interface are located at index.htm and logon.htm. You can load these pages in any standard web browser using a standard HTTP GET request.

index.htm is the main page of the Intel AMT WebUI, and is the default page that is loaded when you connect to the IP address without specifying a webpage (for instance, if you load http://[ipaddress]:16992/).

logon.htm presents the Intel AMT WebUI’s logon page:

This action requires the ADMIN_SECURITY_GENERAL_INFO credential. For details on authentication and compatible browsers, see Accessing Intel AMT via the WebUI Interface.
