Configure ME Presence Event Period

The following steps describe how often to send the ME Presence event. To enable this event select the ME Presence event filter. See the ME Presence Event Example.

1.  Retrieve the instance of AMT_GeneralSettings, where the “InstanceID” key equals “Intel(r) AMT: General Settings”.

2.  Set AMT_GeneralSettings.PresenceNotificationInterval to the desired interval, in minutes, for sending an ME Presence event.  For example, setting the value to 60 will cause Intel AMT to send an event once every hour.

3.  Perform AMT_GeneralSettings.Put.
