Configuring the Local Manageability Service
From Intel AMT Release 9.0, the LMS installer automatically registers the LMS with the NAP Agent on the platform. There are no required configuration parameters (Windows XP Pro SP2 or Vista). This is the only client configuration requirement. If the NAP agent is disabled, then this registration will fail.
Prior to Release 9.0 the User Notification Service performed the LMS functions above.

Intel is removing the Endpoint Access Control (EAC) feature, including Intel® AMT support for Network Access Protection (NAP), from the Intel® CSME firmware. Starting with Intel CSME 18.0, the feature is no longer supported. |
