Denial-of-Service Attack Prevention

The Opt-in mechanism protects against Denial of Service (DOS) attacks by cancelling the consent flow and by slowing down requests to start the consent flow. This occurs if there is a series of failed attempts to perform the consent flow. If the consent flow has been cancelled because of a series of failed attempts, the method StartOptIn returns status code 3 (blocked).

The same behavior happens when attempting to initiate a KVM session.
