Freeze/Unfreeze the Event Log

The following steps describe how to freeze/unfreeze the Event Log. When the Event Log is frozen you cannot clear the log and new events are not written to the Event Log.

1.  Retrieve the instance of AMT_MessageLog, where the “name” key equals “Intel(r) AMT:MessageLog 1”.

2.  Invoke AMT_MessageLog.FreezeLog with the following parameter:




True (1) – Freeze the Event Log

False (0) – Unfreeze the Event Log
