KVM_SetCertificates

This function is now deprecated on Windows Operating systems, and TLS – SSPI mode should be used. On Windows OS if this function is not called or called with empty strings the KVM Proxy library automatically perform SSPI secure KVM session flow.

Look at Secure Session Support and at KVM_SetClientCertificate() for more information.

This function updates the certificates used in connection with an already defined connection. See Secure Session Support.

Value or Description

root_certificate

Input

The path to the root certificate (in .CER format) that will be used to validate the Intel AMT platform server certificate. The certificate must be installed in the Trusted Root store. Empty string if communications with Intel AMT is not TLS-based. See Secure Session Support.

personal_certificate

Input

The path to the client certificate (in .PEM format), used to validate the KVM user when TLS Mutual Authentication is required. The certificate must be installed in the Trusted Root store. If an empty string, the first certificate in the My certificate store with the appropriate OIDs will be selected.  See Secure Session Support.

certificate_pwd

Input

Password for the client certificate, if it is password protected, otherwise empty.
