In addition to Intel vPro®, which provides full Intel AMT manageability, Intel also provides Intel® Standard Manageability mode, which supports a subset of the Intel AMT functionality.
To detect the level of manageability that your platform supports, you can view the ManageabilityMode field of the ME_System CIM class.
Intel® Standard Manageability
Intel Standard Manageability mode was introduced with Intel AMT Release 5.0 and is available on desktop and workstation.
Intel Standard Manageability supports the following subset of Intel AMT features:
• Hardware Inventory
• Boot Control
• Power State Management
• Redirection
• Alarm Clock
• Agent Presence
• Access Monitor
• System Defense Filters

Access Monitor is supported in this mode from Intel AMT Release 6.0. The Alarm Clock (access out-of-band) is supported in this mode from Intel AMT Release 9.0. Remote Access (CIRA), Fast Call for Help (CILA), Wireless Manageability and |
Messages displayed by these platforms in the MEBX and the WebUI indicate Intel Standard Manageability, instead of Intel AMT.
Intel Level III Manageability Upgrade

Starting with Intel AMT Release 9.0, Level III Manageability is no longer available. |
This SKU was introduced with Intel AMT Release 5.1. It has reduced capability compared to full Intel AMT SKU, but has more capability than the Intel Standard Manageability SKU:
• Release 5.1 – Supports all Intel AMT features except Access Monitor and Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP).
• Release 6.1 – Supports all Intel AMT features except Alarm Clock and KVM.
• Release 7.0 – Supports all Intel AMT features except the following:
• Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP)
• Wireless connections to the Manageability Engine

Beginning in Intel AMT Release 9.0, Level III manageability SKU MU and CPU upgrades will no longer be offered. Level III manageability will only be available to those platforms which already upgraded to it by Intel AMT Release 7.0. |
Intel® Small Business Technology (Intel® SBT)

Starting with Intel AMT Release 11.5, Intel® Small Business Technology (Intel® SBT) is no longer available. |
This SKU was introduced with Intel AMT Release 8.0. See Intel® Small Business Technology Platform.
The following Intel AMT features are NOT included or supported on platforms with this SKU:
• Access to the SKU features via an out-of-band network connection
• Remote Access, including Fast Call for Help and Remote Scheduled Maintenance
• Local user-initiated call for help
• Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP)
• Legacy SOAP APIs
• Wireless connections to the Manageability Engine
• WebUI
• KVM
