Use Cases

The following table describes the main use cases of the Wi-Fi Port Configuration feature.

Retrieve Wireless Settings	4.x and 6.0 and later releases	ADMINISTRATION_REALM LOCAL_APPS_REALM Starting in Release 6.1, LOCAL_APPS_REALM permission is removed and replaced by LOCAL_SYSTEM_REALM. Starting in Release 9.0, only a $$OSAdmin user with LOCAL_SYSTEM_REALM permissions can view the wireless user profiles.
Enumerate Existing Wireless Profiles	4.x and 6.0 and later releases	All users
Add a Wireless Profile	4.x and 6.0 and later releases	ADMINISTRATION_REALM LOCAL_APPS_REALM Starting in Release 6.1, LOCAL_APPS_REALM permission is removed and replaced by LOCAL_SYSTEM_REALM.
