Intel AMT Release 2.5 through Release 8.1 includes the User Notification Service (UNS), a Windows service installed on the host that registers with Intel AMT to receive alerts of a specific set of events. The UNS logs the events in the Window Application Event Log. The events include reports of System Defense policies being activated, start and stop of wireless management sessions and start and stop of redirection sessions. Beginning in Intel AMT Release 9.0 the Local Manageability Service performs these function. See Local Manageability Service for more information.
The LMS also is used to request posture data from Intel AMT and stores it locally in the host. The NAC posture plug-in reads the stored value in response to NAC server requests.

Beginning in Intel AMT Release 9.0 NAC is no longer supported. |
Release 4.0 adds reporting of Microsoft* Network Access Protection (NAP) Statement of Health (SoH) messages. See User Notification Service.
