The Hardware Assets feature enables applications to get information from the Intel AMT device about the hardware available on the platform.
The Intel AMT device maintains tables of data about the hardware assets included in the host platform. This data is gathered each time the platform is rebooted.

If the Intel AMT device was not rebooted after it was configured for the first time, the hardware asset tables will be empty. In this case, the platform must be rebooted so that Intel AMT can gather the data. |
