IDF '14 Part 1: My experiences as a new black belt

I attended IDF14 (Intel Developers Forum 2014). I was invited because I achieved something called “Black Belt” status this year, meaning that someone believes that I have a certain modicum of influence within the scale developer community. Personally, achieving this status evokes equal mixtures of pride, self-consciousness and an “ah shucks”.

Intel® Software Conference (ISTEP) in Brazil

In 2013, the Intel® Software Academic Program, working together with the Intel Software Development Tools Team, brought the Intel Software Conference to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. With 238 attendees in total, the conference delivered hands on lab training's and theoretical lectures. The infrastructure of the Manycore Lab implemented in 2013, delivered the experience on a live Intel Xeon-Phi system. We are excited to announce that 2014 will be even bigger and better, including a Parallel Software Marathon.

IUEE: Student Mentorship and Learning Experience

Hi Everyone,

So my first blog gave a little bit of information about me and my experience with web development and how I got started with intel. The first experience I had was with the Intel Ultimate Engineering Experience when they went to Arizona. The unique experience was after the event, when I was invited to be a student mentor with some students from Contra Costa Community College. So far it has been a very interesting and very rewarding experience.
