Intel AMT login issues


If you are having difficulties logging on your Intel AMT WebUI or your management console is returning errors when you try to connect, here are some things you can check:

Connection:

  • Does the Intel AMT client respond to ping? 
  • If your AMT Client is pre-AMT 6 are you connecting from a remote system? (Local connections are not allowed pre-AMT 6.2)
  • Are there firewalls on the server or client that may be blocking the traffic?

The first thing you may think about after you have purchased an Intel® vPro Platform with Intel® AMT Technology, is "Where do I start?"  Getting to "know" the MEBx* menus is probably one of the first things you might want to do.  This video shows you how to get into them and how you can change some of your Intel Active Management Technology's settings and configurations.
