Fix for 2015 Update 4 Composer Edition install exiting

Some users may experience a problem where installing Intel Parallel Studio XE 2015 Composer Edition for Fortran Windows Update 4 exits the installer after clicking Next on the first install screen. This is most likely to occur if the system also has Intel VTune Amplifier XE or Intel Advisor XE installed.

The problem will be fixed in Update 5. A workaround is as follows:

Free Intel Visual Fortran for students!

Intel Fortran is now available under a free, non-commercial license for qualified students on Linux, OS X and WIndows. See https://software.intel.com/en-us/qualify-for-free-software/student for more details.

Note: If you don't already have a supported Microsoft Visuall Studio installed, you'll need to get one first as the student license doesn't include the VS Shell-based IDE. The free Visual Studio 2013 Community Edition will do.

Reinstatement of Intel® IPP in-place functions

Some of the users are using the old Intel® IPP releases, and may notice the deprecation warnings on the in-place functions.

After reviewing the feedback from the users, we decided to keep these in-place functions in the Intel® IPP releases.

The deprecation warning was removed since Intel® IPP 8.1 release.  These functions continues to be supported.

Check here to find the new features in Intel® IPP 8.2, and your feedback is welcome on the product.
