In the Intel® XDK development environment, once you have completed debugging and testing your app you can use the Build tab to make packages suitable for submitting to a variety of app stores. There are two types of app builds available:
I'm just starting to port apps to this framework.

The Services tab of the Intel® XDK development environment lets you explore a collection of third-party web service APIs (cloud services). In addition to the built-in third-party web services, the Services tab helps you integrate other existing web services, such as those developed specifically for this app. Use these platform-independent web services to create apps that:
- Present content, such as timely news, weather, and business information.
- Present location information visually on a map.
As shown in The Device Emulator GUI, the Device Emulator provides a series of palettes, each of which controls some aspect of the virtual environment. The palettes are divided into two accordion-style columns, one on the left and one on the right of the virtual device.
