Project Name: Vitruvian VR 2.0—Wing Suit Simulator

Padova, Italy

Connecting history, technology, gaming, and VR, the Vitruvian VR flight simulator uses an electronically controlled mechanism to make the user feel like the Vitruvian Man of Leonardo da Vinci. Using two joysticks and wearing a backpack that simulates VR, the participant controls two rings and three motors for a three-axis rotation, which potentially allows 360 degree flight simulation.
