Detailed Description

With the host wake-up feature it is possible to set an alarm clock within Intel AMT to wake up the host when it is in a sleep state or when it is powered down. The feature was introduced in Intel AMT Release 5.1. Release 8.0 extends the feature to support multiple alarms. The newer version is backward compatible with the earlier version of the feature.

 Note:

Applications designed to work with the legacy alarm clock feature will continue to work with future releases. However, the AMT_AlarmClockService properties AMTAlarmClockInterval and NextAMTAlarmTime are deprecated in favor of the Release 8.0 feature implementation.
