Academic Developers
For degree-granting institutions of higher learning whose primary purpose is to provide education to the general public, (colleges and universities), and to faculty members and faculty personnel, Intel offers substantially discounted pricing on all Intel® Software Development Products. Faculty may be eligible for additional member benefits through the Intel Academic Community.
Academic pricing includes individual user and concurrent user licenses.
For all products, with the exception of Intel® Parallel Studio, users also get one year of support and product updates, which includes major and minor releases.
For Intel Parallel Studio, academic users can get support through the Community Support Forum and receive free product updates for the version purchased. Academic users can also purchase an Intel® Parallel Studio Technical Support Incident if they want a private and secure communication with our technical support team.

Student Pricing

Intel offers a suite of development tools under a single user license for many of the most popular Intel Software Development Products to individual students at prices ranging from $49 to $129 per seat depending on the operating system required. We also offer a few standalone cluster tools for students at greatly reduced prices.
A student is defined as full and part-time matriculated students of a higher education institution defined as a public or private, vocational school, correspondence school, junior college, college, university, or scientific or technical institution. Classroom Pricing
Intel offers a suite of development tools under a floating license for classroom use for many of the most popular Intel Software Development Products at a discount of up to 95% off commercial retail price. Select classroom licenses may also be available to eligible faculty member through the Intel Academic Community.
