Remote Control and User Consent

When the Host-based Setup feature is enabled and a setup was performed using local host setup, the host platform will be in Client Control mode. In this mode, performing Set Boot Options (see Set SOL/Storage Redirection and other Boot Options) requires user consent. User consent is also required when IPS_OptInService.OptInRequired=ALL. See User Consent General Flow for a description of how to work with this process.

If user content is revoked or expires, the remote boot option is cleared and remote boot permission must be regranted by the user.
